Rose Suriano is a trial attorney specializing in complex commercial and business litigation, real estate based and construction litigation. She brings to her clients the wisdom of twenty years of trial and appellate court experience in both state and federal courts. She has litigated intricate matters involving business and general contract disputes and litigation, commercial real estate litigation, construction litigation, employment claims, partnership and shareholder dissolutions and disputes, including, restrictive covenant suits, domain name disputes, shareholder oppression actions and other corporate claims. Her clients include businesses, subcontractors, construction managers, individuals, medical practices and their doctors, and closely held companies. Her diverse experience enables her to adapt her services to the particular needs of each client.

Rose joined the firm in 1994, leaving a New Jersey law firm listed as one of the top five law firms in New Jersey. Prior to joining Podvey Meanor, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Erminie Conley in 1988 in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, General Equity. Rose assisted Judge Conley in presiding over complex commercial matters. During her clerkship, Rose also assisted Judge Conley while assigned to the Appellate Division. Rose served as an intern to the Honorable Alfred J. Lechner, Jr., United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. While in law school, Rose was the recipient of the Italian American and Centennial Scholarships.

Rose was recently appointed to serve as a Director on the Board of the Trinitas Health Foundation and is a Director of the New Jersey Applied Sciences Technology Council. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association; the Executive Women of New Jersey; Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women, New Jersey Chapter; the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey; the National Association of Corporate Directors, New Jersey Chapter; and the Newark Regional Business Partnership. She is also involved in the Women’s Fund of New Jersey. She has lectured on commercial litigation issues, contract disputes, the significance of certain provisions in a contract and on electronic discovery in litigation.
