Tom Hildner, attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating cum laude, and received his law degree from the University of Virginia where he held a law school scholarship.
Tom is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, Virginia, and the U.S. District Courts of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He has nearly 40 years of trial experience in the areas of significant personal injuries, motor vehicle accidents, product liability, personal and commercial insurance coverage, commercial property insurance subrogation (fires, explosions, collapses, and other catastrophic losses), complex commercial litigation, professional malpractice and consumer fraud. He also has very extensive trial and appellate experience in family law matters representing doctors, lawyers, accountants and other professionals and their spouses. Tom has served as an adjunct professor of law at Seton Hall University Law School and has lectured at Rutgers University and The Seton Hall Law School. He is a mediator for family law matters, a member of the Association of Professional Mediators and has been appointed in numerous cases as an Arbitrator by the U.S. District Court of New Jersey.
Tom resides in Short Hills, New Jersey where he has been very active in community affairs. He is the president of the Short Hills Association, and has previously served as the president of the Deerfield Civic Association, Millburn-Short Hills Scholastic Boosters, and as a coach of the Millburn High School Mock Trial Team. Tom is also a Trustee of Partners for Women and Justice, an organization dedicated to making positive change in the lives of low income and abused women.
